Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox: less is more, love.
Trying too hard is never cool.

Celebrities are, save for remarkable exceptions, a crowd not to take seriously.
Especially nowadays, when nothing is mysterious anymore and very few entertainers have the allure, the glamour, the mystique (and ultimately, the commitment to their craft) of a Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn or Cary Grant. It’s simply a different time, driven by a completely opposite set of rules.
Still, there are rules and limits of taste -and P.R.- for the game of fame, even in the Kardashian era-as Kim Kardashian herself knows very well. Say what you want about the woman, but she and her family know their stuff when it comes to being famous.
Clout isn’t everything and attention, of the good or bad kind, can only do so much for you. Balance is key if a given celebrity is looking to stay relevant for a while.
Well, that’s something that starlet Megan Fox and her new beau, Machine Gun Kelly, should meditate on since they rage on avidly creating attention seeking content.
They are, after all, celebrities, so they most likely meditate or follow some new age mambo-jambo.
One thing can be said for Megan Fox: she is honest. She never pretended to be a very serious actress or a really good one for all that matters. She (or her PR) positioned her image since day one as a somewhat contrived “exotic” beauty, a poor man’s Angelina Jolie with more girl-next-door features and a fake tan (that looked stunning against her blue eyes, let’s be honest) playing eye candy in Michael Bay’s films. She never tried to be anything more than that. One point for not being pretentious, nor political — a rarity in la-la-land, we must give her that.
She never hid her cringe-worthy admiration for Angelina Jolie, either — not just through sheer imitation but by being very vocal about it.
The gushing (and mimicking ) got so overwhelming that back in 2009 the object of Fox’s devotion, Angelina Jolie herself (who for all her shortcomings, is usually a tight-lipped class act) lost her patience and pulled out a Mariah Carey, stating that she didn’t know who Megan Fox was in less than amicable terms.
